Kronk, in Detroit, MI. This famous gym run by Emmanuel Steward has produced 37 world champions, including Tommy "The Hitman" Hearns, and current IBF welterweight title holder, Kermit Cintron.
Built in 1921 on McGraw street in west Detroit, the Kronk Community Building was a recreation center named for former Detroit City Councilman John Kronk who served Detroit from approximately 1919 through 1940.
