That's tough. To be honest, Ive moved here recently and after having trained at some amazing mma gyms across the us the training here is really sub-par.

If you just want to learn the basics though and arent lookig to actually fight, then any decent school will do. Id recommend the relson gracie school on manchaca, it seems to be the most serious and have the best instructors. CTC has the nicest academy and the best equipment, but, to be honest, the training is not so great. Ive been to a lot of gyms in Austin so its the sad conclusion Ive come up with.

Like I said though, if you want to to train to fight, your best bet is to leave, go train in Albuquerque at Jacksons or the lions den, or the miletich camp in Iowa (Im not saying you need a big name to get great training in, but DO look at the talent that's coming out of the gym youre signing up for). Or, actually, Ive heard theres a good place in cedar park, but I havent actually been.

Best of luck to you.
