In Cleveland your to best option would be Griffon Rawl and Strong Style. Both gyms have UFC veterans training there and a solid stable of amateurs. I have included the website for each.

There are really only three legitimate MMA gyms in the Baltimore area. The biggest is Ground Control Baltimore (GroundControlBaltimore.com) which is a Renzo Gracie affiliate. They are the only one of the three who produce, and are coached by professional fighters. Then you have Baltimore Brazilian Jiu Jitsu which is a much smaller school or more personal depending on your point of view. Their head coach has had a couple amateur fights. Their website is www.BaltimoreBJJ.com. Finally, you have the Lloyd Irvin affiliate Crazy 88 Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu which is http://www.88bjj.com . They are a bit outside the city in Columbia, MD I think. Their coach has not fought.
Also, Ground Control just opened two gyms in Columbia and Owings Mills. www.groundcontrolusa.com
SCR Fight Club!
Vaghi...Bergers MMA, 21st Century Self Defense. Depends on what your looking for. The Hit Squad has some of the best names around no doubt and most likely the best training programs for MMA, but they are outside the St Louis area where most people live. They are also geared to big names and top pros. Very expensive for MMA training and long contract. If you want more ground floor MMA try any Vaghi's places, but they tend to sign contracts and focus on BJJ. A good all round MMA combination plus entry level amatuer competition at very good prices try Bergers MMA in Arnold, Mo.
The H.I.T. Squad in Granite City, IL. 5 minutes from downtown STL.
Best bargain would be SCR Fight Club in Sunset Hills...no contract and great training in open gym.
The H.I.T. Squad is not "geared toward big named fighters and top pros" It is open to everyone and has more amateurs than it does pros. They have Amateur fighters fighting almost every weekend as well as pros fighting every weekend. That is the beauty of having a manager that is known in the business. Yes its the only gym in the St. Louis area putting guys into the UFC. Their BJJ coach will be on the Ultimate Fighter Season 12. As far as being expensive this isn't the case either. I believe its like $85 dollars for BJJ 5 days a week with a year contract. I think at Vaghi's you have to sign a 2 yr contract and I know its more that $85 per month. All of these other places are great, but it becomes about who would you want to learn from someone who has actually been to the top right?
Brock Lesnar is from there and he trains at the Minnesota Martial Arts Academy with Sean Sherk. And to whoever asked this question I wanna say good luck on getting in the UFC. http://www.ufc.com/index.cfm?fa=news.detail&gid=8375
