Jeff Hardy won his first and only WWE championship in the Armageddon pay per view in the year 2008. He faced Triple H and Edge in a Triple Threat Match. He pinned Edge after hitting him with a Swanton Bomb while Triple H was out on the floor. Triple H was taken out and as a result he wasn't able to prevent Hardy from pinning Edge and winning the match.
