On August 7, 2003, I had the opportunity to talk with Randy "Macho Man" Savage about his latest project, the possibility of him appearing at Wrestlemania XX, the passing of Elizabeth Huelette, and more. I guess we'll start on a somber topic. Anyone reading this interview is wondering what your thoughts are on the passing of Elizabeth Huelette. I was saddened and shocked at the news. I was actually driving down the road with my girlfriend, and a friend of mine, Steve Keirn, called me with the news. I was really just saddened and shocked at the news. Now, you actually hadn't been in contact with her for some time, right? Right. There really wasn't a relationship between the two of you. We really were separated, we were apart for ten years. We were not even talking to each other for almost the last five years. It was a total separation. I was really sad for her family, her brother, and everybody that was close to her. I want to thank you for talking about this. A lot of people have been asking "what does Randy Savage think about this" because even though, as you said, the two of you have been apart for some time, Wrestling fans still think about 'Randy & Liz' from the glory days of the WWF. Absolutely. You know, another friend of mine, since we are on this topic, a wrestler that passed away at a very young age, Curt Hennig was a very, very good friend of mine. In fact, one of the thirteen songs on this CD I am doing is a tribute to Curt Hennig.
