The foil, in fact, is only one of the three weapons used in fencing. The other two are known by different names: the Epee and the Saber.
Divide the length of the fencing by pi.

pi x diameter = 3.14 x 10 = 31.4 feet
A curved saber is a type of sword with a curved blade that originated in Central Asia and the Middle East. It is known for its slashing ability due to the curve in the blade, which allows for more powerful cuts in combat. The curved shape of the saber also helps with fluid and efficient movements in fencing.
The guard dog is now lunging at me. The art of fencing requires lunging.
The term from French is "en garde" (said at the beginning of a bout).
2*pi*radius or pi*diameter
The target area depends on the weapon that you are using. If you are fencing Epee, the target area is your opponent's entire body. If you are fencing Saber, the target area is your opponent's body from the waist up. If you are fencing the third and final weapon, Foil, the target area is simply your opponent's torso. This excludes their legs, arms, and head, limiting it to the chest and stomach region.
