The Taekwondo of America Association hosts a tournament every six months in the spring and fall at Reynolds Middle School in Fairview, Oregon.
The ATU (American Taekwondo United) is a collection of mostly Korean Taekwondo Instructors throughout the United States, representing state chapters of ATU. These instructors run their own schools, and might still be actively involved with the Kukkiwon for credentials, or World Taekwondo Federation for competition and Olympics, but have also connected through the fairly recently developed ATU to support one another. The ATU President is Seung Hyung Lee.

The Taekwondo of America Association (tkdaa) is a small association of ten taekwondo school in and around Portland, Oregon and Vancouver, Washington.
