Wali Khan's father Bacha Khan was a member of Congress, agent of the Hindus, openly termed as Sarhaddi Gandhi. He was against the Partition of India and the creation of Pakistan. He and his followers were shamefully defeated in the referendum. Wali Khan's father is buried in Afghanistan.
