Can be anywhere from one to three rounds.

It depends on the tournament, and the rank and age of the competitors. Some smaller tournaments will have only one 90 second round for junior divisions or color belts. Some will use two 60 second rounds, with a 30 second rest period. Black Belt matches are often two 2 minute rounds or three 3 minute rounds with 30 second rest periods in between rounds.

By most standard rules of Taekwondo tournaments, the match time is never less than a total of 90 seconds, and never exceeds three rounds, and no more than three minutes for any one round.
