Judo throws have some similarities with Greco Roman wrestling throws. Judo moves somewhat resemble a combination of Greco Roman wrestling and Jiu-jitsu. However, Judo techniques are far more comprehensive than wrestling. Judo has it's roots from Jiu-jitsu, not wrestling.

Judo and wrestling are both Martial Arts, but Judo is not normally considered to be a form of wrestling, despite some similarities. In terms of classification, Judo is a Japanese martial art.
