i would have to say no, because the child is just beinnning to develope and if he does start cutting, it will stunt his growth.

Football makes you gain weight by lifting and eating. usually by putting on body fat. But, when you wrestle, you are encouraged to keep your wait low, and maintain it. This is known as cutting weight to wrestle at a lower weight class giving you the body weight advantage.
