The best thing to do is cut a line from the edge of the sticker to the center. then you have the one side of the cut overlap the other so that the sticker conforms to the curve of the helmet. Any air bubbles that persist can be popped with a razor blade.
When a motorcycle helmet is DOT certified, that means it has been certified by the United Stated Department of Transportation, following strict safety standards. Once a helmet has been DOT certified it is identified with a sticker on the helmet itself. Unfortunately, not every helmet sold that has a DOT sticker is DOT compliant. Visit the following site for a partial listing of the most popular brand helmets. http://www.helmetcheck.org/database.aspx CarlGlas Any helmet that is DOT approved will have a sticker on the helmet. If you go to a helmet manufacturers website, it will state what certifications the helmet has.
It depends on the helmet! If its a Navy Blue helmet its a Gold script Lettering "Cal" and if its a white helmet its a navy blue lettering "Cal"! Hope this helps
I know Missouri does.

Arkansas State has that design
Red axe, given to the winner of the Stanford-Cal game
It all depends where you live. I live in Ontario Canada and my helmet was manufactured in Australia so it has the Australian Standard Certified Product sticker on it. It also has a sticker that says "DOT", which stands for "Department of Transportation (or Transport). Check local laws.
