There are 250 Division I football programs that will compete in 2014. Division I has two subdivisions, the FBS (Football Bowl Subdivision) and the FCS (Football Championship Subdivision). The FBS was formerly knowns as Division I-A and the FCS was formerly knows as Division I-AA.
