If you are going by the Beckett magazine guide you can cut any given value by 50%-70%. The beckett is not a very good tool to gauge a hockey cards value.

You will need to subscribe which will cost you a few dollars, but yes, you will get access to a huge database of pricing lists. This online price guide features highest and lowest book value and can be of good help to you.
Another option is to check out from eBay. Here you can see the real time pricing of your cards and how much collectors are currently paying for a card. But, you need to do a complete item search. There are different dealers selling at different price points.
