A lot has to do with the answer of this question. 1: What is the condition of the card. 2: Is the card graded. 3: If yes by who. Some of the more well know grading company's like PSA/DNA, Beckett could bring in a little more at higher end grades. 4: Which cards company is it ie. Topps, Fleer, Donruss ETC.
Wade Boggs rookie year was in 1982 but his rookie card did not come out until 1983. Here are some of values from Tuff Stuff price guide.
1983 Donruss Card #586($10.00)
1983 Fleer card # 179 ($10.00)
1983 Topps card # 498($15.00)
Like I said those prices are out of the price guide, chances are if you would try to sell this card on auction or to a shop you would be looking at about half the value to the shop, and you may or may not make a dollar or two on something like Ebay. If graded all 3 are up words of 55.00 for a 9, 9.5, and maybe 70.00 for a 10.
