I have never seen a double stamp before on a souvenir baseball. I have never seen a 1953 Yankees souvenir baseball before yours, and it is likely, most, if not all were made this way once the stamping was set for printing. It will not have added value. The mistake could have been corrected later in the year, and Rizzuto's signature might have been added as well. Souvenir baseballs from this era are rare, and it might be some time before we come across another to compare with.
