There is a large community of collectors that collect tickets/Stubs of Games when a player hits a Home Runs. Record breaking Players such as Mantle, Mays Aaron, and now players like Alex Rodriguez who have a shot at hitting 500, 600 home runs or more. A collector might collect tickets of Games when Rickey Henderson Stole Bases, or Cal Ripken Jr. Record setting games played in a row. Tickets such as this are very desirable, and will bring top dollar if a collector needs this ticket for their set.

I have seen tickets stubs from games that Mickey Mantle hit a home run for the most part sell between $75.-$150. and for his 500th Home Run game in the $600. neighborhood.

The Ticket you have from September 26, 1961 Roger Maris hit his 60th Home run of the season tying him with Babe Ruth for the single season home run record. It's not his record breaking 61 but still an historic home run, and I can't see this ticket selling for less than $200.-$300. at a bargain. Condition of the ticket will be a factor but regardless it will still bring a nice value.

A 1957 Yankees World Series Full ticket played at Yankee Stadium is worth about $150. -$200. A ticket stub sells for about $85.-$150. Condition is important. The slightest flaws could bring the price down significantly. Common flaws include; rips, creases, stains, and fading. Ticket stubs that are not ripped cleanly will also sell for less. The 1957 World Series featured the Milwaukee Braves beating the New York Yankees four games to three to win their first and only world series in Milwaukee. Tickets/stubs for the winning team typically sell at a higher price. A 1957 Brave World Series Full ticket played at County Stadium is worth about $175. -$250. and a ticket stub about $50.-$85. 1954 New York Yankees Regular Season Ticket StubsIn general baseball tickets stubs for all teams from this era (1954) are worth about $15.-$20. (more for a full ticket) Condition is important. Rips, crease, stains and fading could bring the price down significantly. With ticket stubs if the stub was not torn cleanly it will effect the price as will if the stub was stapled to a program (holes) which is a common practice.

Ticket stubs from baseball games that feature special events or player milestones are highly sought after by collectors. Special events such as opening day, inaugural games, last game at a Stadium....etc. Player milestones can include 500 home runs, 300 win, or any record breaking event.

There are a large community of collectors that would be in the market for game tickets where a noted player such as Mickey Mantle hit a home run or a pitcher like Whitey Ford recorded a win.

Try to find the box score of the game played on the date your ticket stub is from. Look for a player milestone for a player like Whitey Ford (win) or Mickey Mantle (HR) or even a noted player from the other team. A ticket stub from a game that Mickey Mantle hit a home Run will bring top dollar, and that would include career Home Runs 58-84

The Yankees played a double-header that day, and HOF'er Lefty Gomez started the first game. I couldn't find a box score for that day. If you find a box score check look for a player milestone for a player like Lefty Gomez (win) or Joe DiMaggio (HR). Also check the visiting team.
