In 1996 Topps issued a 19 card Mickey Mantle commemorative set. Card number 14 is a reproduction of the 1964 Topps Mickey Mantle card number 50. The card is exactly the same with the exception of the commemorative stamp on the front, and the set title, and copyright on the back.

That same year in the Topps regular issued set a special Mickey Mantle card was issued as card number 7 (his uniform number) and became the last card to be issued as card number 7 in the Topps brand set.
