You can spray on a lacquer similar to that used on water color paintings. this acts as a Varnish. You cannot handle the ball to much once done as the coating can be damaged

There is nothing you could or should spray on the signature that will not devalue the signature! Putting on a coat of varnish will ruin the value of the signature. You might want to invest in a display case with at least 50% UV protection, and try to display the signature in indirect lighting. Sun light will do the most damage as well as reflected sun light. Always check your signatures periodically for signs of fading or deterioration, and avoid excessive handling.
