I own 3 copies from a Chicago book signing that Mr. Mantle did in the summer of '94. I remember meeting him afterwords and him sharing a Baseball story with his entourage, this while I 'shadowed' the group he was with. This turned out to be his last summer out and mobile before he had passed away on 13AUG the next year due to liver cancer at 64 yrs old. Over the years I have also been making regular searches, like you, to their value. The most recent search is as of this writing, 21MAR09. I believe it was last October, when the prices ranged from $300 to $375. Today, I see that the one site is showing for a fine/like new edition being at $500.00 (http://www.alibris.com/booksearch.detail?S=R&bid=9710763150&cm_mmc=shopcompare-_-base-_-signed-_-na). Good luck with yours, if I only had but one copy, I would find other ways to obtain that money. You'll be glad you did.
