If your coin has Britannia on it, it is most likely a penny, a half penny, or a farthing. A penny is about the size of a US half dollar, a half-penny is closer to the size of a quarter and a farthing is just slightly bigger than a US cent. Condition is everything in these older coins, the prices I list are going to be prices for average, circulated examples. A coin in mint-state condition, or exhibiting some error, might be worth many times more. But a William III farthing is worth about $10-25, a William III half-penny is worth about $16-40 and I really can't find much data about William III pennies, so I'm not even sure if there was a 1697 penny struck, but there seems to be no examples on eBay at this time.
British Coins featuring Britannia have been issued for hundreds of years.

$315 to $180,000 depending upon the condition of the coin and which variety the coin is.
The first Morgan dollar was coined in 1878, a US dollar coin dated 1797 is a Draped Bust dollar. If you actually have a dollar coin dated 1797, take it to a coin dealer for an accurate assessment.
Those are the years George Washington was President, so what you have is a 2007 presidential dollar coin. It's worth one dollar.
Take it to a dealer for an accurate assessment, 4 major types of 1797 large cents exist and the values are very different.
Those are the years George Washington was President. If the coin is slightly larger than a quarter, and golden in color, then it's a 2007 presidential dollar coin worth one dollar.
It is only worth the value of the metal it is made of so if it is made of silver it is worth something. If it's fake then it has no collector value.
The only US coin that has the dual-dates of 1797-1801 on the obverse is a 2007 John Adams Presidential dollar, the date and mintmark is on the edge of the coin. If you got the coin from a bank or change, it's face value. Only a proof or mint state coin will have a premium.
Only 4 different denominations of silver US coins are dated 1797 and all have LIBERTY on them, which one are you asking about? Post new question
Its value would depend upon which coin it was and its condition.
It's the first in the presidential dollar coin series, and it's worth one dollar. The coin is made of brass, not gold.
Draped Bust dollar coins were struck in 1797, but no "Lady Liberty", matter of fact, no US coin is called a "Lady Liberty". A real Draped Bust dollar of this date is $1,500.00 to $40,000.00+ depending on the type and condition of the coin.
