This is too vague a question to answer. The value will depend on if we are talking about old US postage stamps with a Baseball theme, or a type of sticker stamp found in gum and/or other premiums, or rubber stamps, etc.

Price Guides

In the case of the card collection you can try looking them up at beckett.com. That should give you a fair idea of their worth. Look in the Baseball price guide Beckett it is a a monthly magazine that you can buy at a magazine viver

A more reliable method is to search for past sales transactions that took place on eBay and major auction houses. VintageCardPrices.com does just this for old baseball cards that range from the late 1800's to 1989.

It also depends on the player, possibly the team and the year. If it is a rookie card of a player that changed baseball it will be worth more.

eBaySearch completed eBay auctions. Its free and way more accurate then anything you will find in Beckett.

Each card has its own value. You can buy magazines in the grocery stores with some of the values. They are Tuff Stuff and Beckett. I use them all the time. You can also check cards on ebay. That all depends on what year. Usually the earlier the less, unless it is autographed or a memorabilia. Items like a Mickey Mantle rookie from 1952 is worth a lot of money, it sold for $50,000 in fact. You can find prices on your cards for free on WikiAnswers. To determine a value of your card ask the question providing the following important information: The year the card was issued, the company that issued the card, the player, and the card number. Note that the year the card was issued is typically the year after the last year listed on the card.

In my opinion, 'Old stamps' are stamps that have been issued from about 1850 to 1935. 'Old stamps' range in value from a few pennies to millions of dollars depending on which one you find or have. Don't be fooled there are still tens of thousands of stamps to be found that are worth from $25 into the $1,000's of dollars. Even dealers misidentify them.

I have found thousands of stamps that have been misidentified or misgraded that are worth a lot. So happy hunting.

That will require a lot of research. I would recommend starting by looking at the Scott Postage Stamp Catalog of the World.
