According to Bill Madden of the NY Daily News the Phillies held a lavish press party and handed out very cheaply made pins to the press. Madden says they were no different than the kind being sold at the concession stands. When he questioned the Phillies media director he was given the answer "We give great parties and lousy pins". Yankees 2009 pins are showing up in hobby and auction sites, but it is unlikely that Phillies pins will do so as there's nothing special about them.
