As long as PSA appraised it as gem mint it doesn't matter what it looks like as long as its sealed after the grade's been done. A recent gem mint Wayne Gretzky rookie card went for $94.000 at auction! Asking price was only $25,000 and it was almost 4 times as much at the end. I would die for a card like that!
If it is in perfect condition, no scratches, dings, wear or tear, it will be worth well over $600 USD. But if there are a few marks on it, it might only be worth about half that price. If it is signed, that's a different story! That could be worth over $1000 USD.
I don't believe there were any errors in the spelling of his name for any 1998-1999 or 1999-2000 Upper Deck Gretzky cards according to the Beckett price guide. I have a Wayne Gretzky card, upper deck #40, his name is mispelled, wondering if this a real or not??
If it comes right from WGA (Wayne Gretzky Authentics) it will be worth around $1000-$1400. If it comes from a different source then the value drops greatly. If it has no authenticity papers at all it is next to wortless as you can't prove it is authentic.
Many of the rookie cards are valued in price close to $75. The amount that one can expect will vary depending upon their condition and how they are being displayed.
With Price stamped on the back of the calendar its worth .........$ 25.00 Calendar with out the price stamp on the back will go for ........$ 40.00 Prices are quoted in Canadian Funds
2.8 million Honus Wagner baseball card once owned by Wayne Gretzky and given away in a raffle by Walmart.
Honus Wagner T206 tobacco cardThe famous "Gretzky T206 Honus Wagner" baseball card sold for a record price of $2.8 million in 2007. Wayne Gretzky and Bruce McNall bought the T206 Honus Wagner card in 1991 for $451,000., and sold it for $500,000. in 1995. Other T206 Honus Wagner cards with a lower grade have recently sold in the $200,000. -$400,000. price range.
I've seen these sell on eBay before and it was nowhere near the price that the previos poster gave you. I've seen them sell for between $10-$30. I don't know where the previous price came from but seeing as his rookie card isn't even worth the previous price listed, why would a flashback reprint be worth more?Wayne Gretzky Flashback Rookie Cardim pretty sure their worth 2500$ to 5000$ dollars depends where you trade it in. My uncle's friend use to have one and he put it in an auction and got 3,500 for it but that was a few years back so it could be more.
First of all it doesn't actually matter...When you have a ROOKIE Card signed it defaces the mint value and drops the price of the card..then raises it for the signature value. For example if Gretky's rookie is worth 1000.00 mint but near mint is 200.00 then you would loose eight hundred dollars in value and then raise it b$50-100 dollars for the signature. So it is much smarter to get a second or third year card signed that has a much less value like $50 mint and 30 near mint because the card will be worth $130 signed.
Wayne Gretzky owned originally owned the famous T206 Honus Wagner" baseball card that sold for $2.8 million in 2007. The famous "Gretzky T206 Honus Wagner" baseball card sold for $2.8 million in September of 2007. This was the highest price paid for the card. Wayne Gretzky and Bruce McNall bought the T206 Honus Wagner card in 1991 for $451,000., and sold it for $500,000. in 1995. At the time there were fewer known examples of the card. The "Gretzky T206 Honus Wagner baseball card" most likely has a higher value because of it's past owner, and I would not include the value of this card with the rest of the T206 Honus Wagner cards on the market. Other T206 Honus Wagner cards have recently sold in the $200,000. -$400,000. price range. A 1914 Babe Ruth rookie baseball card, just the tenth card of its kind to be discovered sold at auction on May 5, 2008 for the price of $517,000. The card was produced by the Baltimore Sun Newspaper. In an auction held in 2007 the Babe Ruth Baltimore News card sold for $200,000. I would put the famous "Gretzky T206 Honus Wagner" baseball card alone at the top as the most valuable, and the 1914 Babe Ruth rookie baseball card second with the "other" T206 Honus Wagner cards a close third.
