Approx. 465 Days
Whew, 465 days would be quite a sailing trip. Considering the fact that the point to point distance is around 1800 nautical miles, and assuming you could average 7 kts in your 40' ketch, the non-stop time (not considering winds, currents, port calls, lay days, etc.) should be somewhere around 10 plus days. The biennial Transpac race from Los Angeles to Honolulu is close to 2300 nautical miles and the boats in that race take anywhere from 7 days to 3 weeks to finish. Have fun.
I like the above answer for ideal conditions. However I would put you into Seattle port in around 3 weeks. That is accounting for poor conditions and stopping for any fuel and supplies. Also, spend a day or two to relax in Bahia Tortuga; the locals there cater to cruisers.
