If you're coming from Penang, the ferry is the way to go. Bahagia Express has a morning and afternoon speedboat from Weld Quay in Georgetown for RM35,00. It takes about 3 hours. Try to choose the better seats that cost RM25 one way as it will make the journey more bearable.
