Auburn's Mascot is Aubie the Tiger. "War Eagle" is the school's battle cry based on many different legends dating back to Civil War times. Auburn's athletic teams are the Tigers not the Eagles. If you see an Auburn fan, be sure to thell them War Eagle and I am sure you will get a huge smile and resounding War Eagle in return.
