If your car is shaking, it normally has to do with your tires. Check your tires for a flat or to make sure they are securely put on.
If you have not had a balance and rotation on your tires within one year, this can cause shaking of your vehicle. Also, if you have a lift or heavy duty tires, your vehicle will be prone to shaking.
Tires need to be balanced and re-aligned
Probably you need to align the tires.
some times the tire places dont balance the tires right. Take it back and have the tires rebalanced. You my also have a defective tire with a broken belt.
Check your tires to make sure there are not out of round and properly balance.
You most likely need to tires for the front of your car. You should replace your tires as soon as possible.
could be unbalanced tires. or a bent rim.. or bad wheel barrings
My 97 RL was shaking badly too despite new tires & l just had both cv axles replaced and the shaking ended.
Driving a shaking car is very dangerous but it could be the ball joints, tie rod ends sway bar bushings, CV axles or unbalanced tires.
if the shaking does not seem to be engine related then it could be a couple of things. try rotating your tires and while the car is jacked up try shaking the tires to see if the wobble, if so the bearings may be bad. also check to see if any of your tires have had a radial belt break (there will be a noticeable lump on the tread of the tire
Could be tires out of balance. Or a bad tire.
