The train will only take you Labrador but your better off going to Nova Scotia where you will have to take a ferry to Newfoundland. When you have arrived in Newfoundland you can take a greyhound bus or make arrangements with a private taxi operator. such Taxis can be found in the phone book in Newfoundland. If you are wondering how come Newfoundland does not have trains anymore, that is because the federal government of Canada decided to cut funding all together after Newfoundland pulled the track up for upgrading the Railway.
