Sport is such a broad subject to study that it's going to be near enough impossible to name all the possibilities.
As far as I can see it, there are a few main branches of sport that you can branch into after the BTEC level 2/3.
There's the physiology route, which involves the careers of physiotherapy or could even develop into a successful doctor/nurse career if studied to a far enough extent.
Linked into this kind of route there's the sports psychology career. This can go to very high levels, such as professional sports clubs of any levels and could vary and branch into careers like journalism if there is the early link between interests in sport and language/literature.
Coaching/Managerial possibilities are also there with the right qualifications on the side. JSLA and HSLA (coaching) qualifications are most likely going to be looked for if you want to go into this career path. These qualifications are usually offered on the side of the BTEC sport courses. And if not, they are widely available in colleges and if not that, then the FA run courses year round.
I'm sure there are more possibilities, but really, I think I've wasted enough of my night on this and should probably get a life about now.
British Football (soccer, as American's incorrectly call it) is the highest paying sport known to man. Just look at David Beckham. Here is a list of other sports that pay well. Top=Higher pay, Bottom = Lower pay; -Boxing -Ultimate Fighter -Tennis -Rugby -Golf -American Football -Basketball -Baseball -Ice Hockey -Athletics That's all I know for now. Hope this helps.
