Hello to all who may read this. The first black Basketball player to sign an NBA contract was a man by the name of Harold " Wild Man" Hunter. He never got the opportunity to play on account of being cut from the team because of racial issues. The first black to actually play professional basketball was Bob " Robert Earl" Love.
