The most well known Spanish player that has played for two English teams would be Albert Riera.

He was loaned from Espanyol to Manchester City in the 2005 - 2006 season where he made 15 appearances, scoring 1 goal. He later returned to Espanyol as a permanent deal couldn't be made.

On 1 September 2008 (transfer deadline day), Riera signed a four-year deal with Liverpool, for a fee of £8 million, where he is still playing his football.

As of 5th December, 2009, Riera has made 32 appearances, and has scored 3 times.

Club appearances and goals counted for the domestic league only.
