There seems to be no reference to him being Jewish, but he could be. However, his middle name, Christopher, strongly suggests otherwise.
I would say not -- first, his name does not appear on any of the "Famous Jews in Sports" lists, and second, he talks in an interview with the Chicago Tribune in Sept. 09 about always wanting a Chicago Bears jersey for Christmas.

It is uncertain to say, without talking directly to him, however, I do believe he is a follower of Jesus the Almighty Christ. I pray that he is.
