Yes. Geoffery Simmons was born December 31st, 1967 when Ahmad, formerly Bobby Moore) was attending Mt. Tahoma High School in Tacoma, Washington. Bobby had been dating Melody Neal (Geoffery's mother) for 4 years when she became pregnant as a sophomore at Mt. Tahoma. She left school and had Geoffery at an unwed mother's facility in Seattle, Washington where Bobby would visit. Melody gave up custody of their first son through Medina Children's adoption program. She knew she could not raise him on her own with Bobby being offered scholarship from prestigious universities for his athletic skills. She would regret this greatly and spend the rest of her life earching for her son yet finding him to no avail before she passed from cancer in 1991. Her difficulty in finding him was due to sealed court records and reluctance from Bobby not kno wing what they might find after so many years.

Geoffery was born at Swedish Hospital in Seattle. Geoffery is officially Melody Neal and Bobby Moore's (now Ahmad Rashad's) first son.
