Consider two examples, Golf Pride multi-compound and Lamkin crossline standard grips. The Golf pride multi compound is around £8 ($9-10) a grip fitted, for a set of irons, you probably get them done for around £50-60. ($70-80) For a full set of clubs (13) it would be around £100 ($120) or so. The Lamkin crossline are around £4-5 a grip fitted, you could probably get a full set done for around £35 ($40-45) or so. For a full set of clubs (13) it would be around £55-65. However if you do it yourself you can do it a lot cheaper, the Golf Pride multi compound is around £6 ($8) single, and a Lamkin crossline is about £2.50-3 ($3-4) a grip. These are found cheapest online and postage is minimal. You will need tape, a piece of grip tape is about 20p or a roll is about £4 ($3-4), a roll will do maybe 2-3 sets. You will also need solvent which is around £5 a bottle, but you could also use petrol or white spirit which work just as well. If you have never regripped a club before you may feel more confident getting your local pro or in a golf shop. The prices in Dollars are not conversions from GBP.
