The cheapest time to buy Six Nations Rugby tickets is when they go on general sale.
However, for popular matches there is often no general sale at all, because the rugby unions will distribute the tickets to their member clubs and debenture holders. If you are not a rugby club member this leaves you with little chance of getting a ticket.
Tickets can still be bought on the secondary ticket market, but the prices will almost certainly be higher than face value.
Your best bet is to look out for the general on-sale date and then get in quick and buy before they sell-out.
