You could do it, providing you use a good quality fabric medium with it, but as most bathing suits are designed to stretch, and get wet, the paint will look "tatty" pretty quickly.
If this is for a one shot deal - a photo shoot, or big beach/pool party, it will most likely look good that long, but fabric paints (or acrylics mixed with fabric medium) don't work well on man-made fibers.
