The only Trailblazer kit I know of is for the Trailblazer SS with the 6.0L engine, and MagnaCharger makes it. Look into a turbo kit. The inline 6 makes lots of low end torque, so there would be little to no noticeable turbo lag. I've seen kits for them.

A fan belt may squeak or slip badly in cold weather due to it being stiff from the weather. However, most likely you will need the belt replaced.
