Why do people watch fake WWE that doesnt even look real and has corny story lines when they could watch something real like ufc?

It's called world Wrestling entertainment. Certainly it's not real. What kind of company would they be if they advertised hostile public violence and tell everyone that it's real? They tell you don't try this stuff at home because they already know what's going to happen. UFC on the other hand is real and a lot of people used to get into fights when i went to school because they thought they had better moves like in UFC. So if anything, I'd rather watch the "fake" stuff because there's actually a point to it.
I don't know what the matter is with people saying wwe sucks because its fake. those people probably think they never get hurt. It's scripted and fake but that doesn't mean that they never get hurt. These people have to be the single most entertaining people in the world. Can you lay on the floor and let someone jump on you feet first. It is fake, it is scripted, but it's not a joke.
Another view. With few exceptions everyone who watches WWE knows that it is sports entertainment, and that the wrestlers rehearse their moves and take pains to avoid actually hurting one another, though injuries do occur. Most people who watch WWE or even TNA do not watch it because they believe it is real. They watch it for the entertainment value. And even though the UFC fights are real matches, they are nonetheless under an official ruling body and sanctioned rules, and people basically watch it for the same reason they watch WWE, for the entertainment value.
