ETS (Educational Testing Services): They use statistics to try to help children in underprivileged circumstances get better education by showing politicians what needs to be changed. They need the statistics to make a point.

Politicians: There have been two situations now where statisticians were brought in to decide if there was enough evidence to say that a politician won an election given that there was missing information.

Geneticists: They use statistics to help find patterns in DNA sequences.
