The current UFC light heavyweight champion is Jon Jones. He won the title in March 2011 when he was only 24 years old making him the youngest person to ever win a UFC Championship. He has been able to successfully defend his title ever since and is dominating the light heavyweight division.

Cain Velasquez is the current UFC heavyweight champion in the UFC. He won the title for the first time at UFC 121. Velasquez won the fight via TKO in the first round to win the title from Brock Lesnar. After Velasquez won the title, he lost it to Junior Dos Santos at the UFC on Fox - 1 event. Brock Lesnar started the year 2010 as the Heavyweight champion of the UFC. He won the belt in November 2008 and was able to defend it in 2009 as well. His first title defense in 2010 was against Shane Carwin at the UFC 111 event in March 2010. He was able to beat Carwin. His next fight in 2010 was against Cain Velasquez at the UFC 121 event in October 2010 which he lost.

So, Lesnar and Velasquez were the UFC Champions in the heavyweight division in 2010.
