Over the years Ford, Dodge, Oldsmobile, and Pontiac have all pulled out at on time or another. I think that Chevy has always been there, they may have pulled out once in the mid to late sixties but I don't know that for sure. They are currently part of NASCAR. In fact, some of the biggest names in the sport today drive Chevys. Dale Earnhardt Jr, Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon, Jeff Burton, Robby Gordon, Kevin Harvick, Tony Stewart, and many more. It has usually been the car maker of the NASCAR champion for the last 20 years or more. What made you think that Chevrolet got out of Nascar? Chevrolet and Ford are the dominant two, specifically Hendrick Motorsports for Chevy and Roush Racing for Ford. Now, you may have gotten Chevrolet confused with Pontiac, which is also owned by General Motors. They left the sport after the 2003 season.

Arena Racing USA is a motorsports series founded by former NASCAR chassis builder Ricky Dennis, son of 1970 NASCAR Rookie of the Year, Bill Dennis.
