Many Martial Arts include moves that result in the 'flipping' of one's opponent. Judo, Aikido and some of the flashier versions of Karate come to mind. Judo is more likely to deliver a "throw" than a flip. "Flipping" is a showy, very Hollywood sort of move, not very practical, really.
