Uma Thurman is not a martial artist; if you watch the "Kill Bill" making of featurettes, reason she looks good is because tarantino insisted, on shooting all action sequences for 2 straight hours. Normally an action sequence is finished in one hour. Thurman however did one better, and said "lets just do this all day." Instead of only 2, she gave Tarantino EIGHT hours, of endlessly doing every action scene until it was finally flawless. Whole reason she looks so skiny; her body fat percentage I think must have dropped all the way down to 7% by the time that was over.
