A great step to take would be to join the Wrestling team if your school has one. This will help you develop your basic ground game, as well as help you learn how to take down your opponent and control him. You could continue your kickboxing class if you believe that you are getting something out of it, but it would also not be a bad idea to try taking some MMA fighting classes.
