Jackie Chan has studied several forms of Kung Fu. He has trained under GrandMaster Leung Ting in Wing Chun, (Bruce Lee also studied this) as well as Tong Long (Mantis), Bak Mei (White Eyebrow), as well as the northern Shaolin Kung Fu he learned in opera school.

He has also learned other styles of Martial Arts to help his screen fighting, including Hapkido, Boxing, Judo, Taekwondo and Hei Long. Jackie's personal style is a mixture of Wing Chun, Hapkido and Judo.

Jackie also learned martial arts from his father.

To the best of my research, Steven Seagal holds a black belt in aikido, Shito-ryu karate, judo, and Kendo. His aikido is what he uses on screen the most. Yes, he holds a black belt in Aikido. Actually, I think he is at least a 7th dan grade in aikido.

Jackie Chan has two Guinness World Records.

The first is to honour his career as an action star - "Most stunts by a Living Actor" and the second for "Most Credits in One Movie" for Jackie's 15 credits for 'CZ12'. Jackie took on 15 of the movie-making roles for the film - Director, Producer, Actor, Fight Choreographer, Composer, Writer, Executive Producer, Cinematographer, Art Director, Unit Production Manager, Catering Coordinator, Stunt Coordinator, Gaffer, Theme Song Vocalist, Props and Stuntman. breaking the previous record of 11 credits held by Robert Rodriguez.

Both Awards were given to Jackie Chan during the soft opening of the JC Film Gallery in Shanghai while promoting 'CZ12'.

Many reports credit both records to 'CZ12', however, Jackie has held the first record for some time, but there was never an opportunity for Guinness World Records to present Jackie with the Award. During the ceremony, they apologised for not having done so before.

Jackie Chan trained with Grandmaster Jin Pal Kim sometime between 1978 and 1982 but the specific dates are not known. Jackie would have been between 24 and 28 years old at this time.

Jackie Chan has not specifically taught any one martial arts although he has taught many people different moves when they are making a movie.
