Sorry there aren't any yet. There are mma schools, and there are places that will show UFC pay-per-views but no mma clubs. Mixed Martial Arts has only been legal for about 3 or 4 months in North Carolina.
It is pretty hard to learn martial arts on the internet. You can learn to do some of the basic movements, but the proper application is something you can only learn from an instructor. Many different web sites will show one or two moves. But one or two moves isn't going to do much to help you.

This would be no different than any other star that has trained in action movies other than known martial artist legends such as Bruce Lee, Chuck Norris, Steven Seagal, etc. Chiklis has played in several movies and tv shows. All of the techniques he would have learned would have been used for his acting career only. For The shield, he had informal training in Aikido, Jiujitsu, and basic striking arts. He has no rank in the martial arts community. It was all done for show.
The requirements are going to vary depending on the school and the style. In most cases, one must be able to demonstrate the required forms or kate, do the appropriate drills and show improvement on the basics.
