Take lessons in the Martial Arts forms most in demand. Read trade papers so you are aware of need for stunt workers as soon as the jobs become available, prepare a headshot and resume, because the movie industry cares about the looks of stunt workers, and their ability to double actors or serve as a human prop in a scene. Most of all, join a stunt workers guild, because that will be the best way to get our name out.

Researching to assist in finding information about how to become a stuntman has shown that there are no particular courses one can take. Most stuntmen have had to work extensively with an experienced stuntman in order to learn. One must be a member of the Screen Actors Guild, and in order to achieve this one must do on camera work.
