The Electronic Transmission Control Module (ETCM) on a 2001 Cadillac Catera is typically located under the vehicle's hood, near the transmission. It is often mounted on or near the transmission itself, making it accessible for diagnostics and repairs. If you're having trouble locating it, consulting the vehicle's service manual or a repair guide can provide specific details and diagrams.
