I know in the 2005 Cadillac cts the fuse boxes are located up under the back seats. There are two fuse boxes, one on the driver's side and one on the passenger side located up under the back seats.
The fuse box on my 2002 Escalade is under the hood. There is a Big box on the right after you open the hood and the lid pops right off and all the fuses are labeled clearly.
Well the fuse box is not really under the seat it is under the carpet where your heals/caves would be if you sit in the rear seat. You have to pull the carpet back, there is Velcro at the top and you have to pull all the way across the back seat. Watch out for the staples on the back of the carpet!!!

All fuse boxes in the Avalon have the diagram of what each fuse does on a sticker in the cover.

Like all cars, and all other stuf, you can buy a 2004 Cadillac Escalade online on eBay. But it probabely won't be a new one, since the car was released in 2004.
